"'Birds Aren't Real' is one of the stranger and darker songs on the album." Says Tadic, "It's inspired by fear itself."

She continues, "The video consist of spooky footage of the town I live. There's been some strange happenings here and I've been having recurring nightmares about a horrific castle in the woods, which also inspired the video."

Drawing on personal experiences for Internal Radio, Tadic comments: “I will forever be fascinated by ideas and where they come from,” continuing “It’s magical how we can get this little seed of an idea and when giving it attention it grows into a whole new universe.

The 11 tracks making up the album were recorded at home in the Netherlands, with Tadic joined by her partner, Adam Harding (Dumb Numbers, Kidbug), and Kramer (Galaxie 500, Unrest, Ween, Daniel Johnston) whom Tadic notes: “It has been a real joy to work with Kramer because he knows and feels the heart of a song and has amazing stuff to add,” .

Finding a confidence and clarity in her songwriting Tadic signs off: “I’m in a phase where I’m more in touch with my own visions,” adding. “I feel more grounded and I care less about other people’s opinions, and I just want to immerse myself with beauty and love and project it out into the world.”
