Maven Grace the project of Henry Jack and Mary Home share new single ‘Silver Birches’ the latest track to be taken from debut album ‘Sleep Standing Up’ released via Helium Records.
Following the previous singles Lone Star, When The Butterflies Come Down and Time Stands Still, Silver Birchers is the latest track to be lifted from debut album Sleep Standing Up by Maven Grace, a sumptuously haunting slice of dream pop built around a subtle piano line and sweeping melody.
Taking in themes of bereavement, divorce and finding strength to endure, permeate throughout debut album Sleep Standing Up. Centred around personal journeys, Maven Grace use lifting pop structures alongside expansive orchestral flourishes to create an album full of positivity and endurance amongst the turmoil that life can bring around: "All these songs have a sense of hope and empowerment" explains Mary. “When people listen, I want them to understand that I’m saying ‘Trust me, it gets better. Just keep going and things will turn around.”
