Discussing 'Jackpot', Sorcha comments: "Jackpot was one of the first songs I wrote for the album and it was one of those songs that kind of wrote itself. It’s about the very earliest days of a relationship, when nothing’s been confessed and you’re still on very unsteady footing. It’s about asking the other person to take a leap of faith and bet on you, even if circumstances are complicated. It’s my way of saying “don’t you think we’d be worth it?” And wincing as I wait for the answer. James Vincent McMorrow produced this one with me and really helped me see the magic in its simplicity."
